Hanging by a thread

Have you ever noticed that genuinely good people are always full of doubt?

They constantly question whether or not something is right.

Those who declare themselves good and righteous are never unsure of themselves, their actions or their motives. This always makes me suspect. How can you know?

That’s not to say good people are indecisive or unable to walk proudly forward, it’s simply there always seems to be a voice in their heads that says “What if?”

If you never doubt yourself, then you never stop to take a true look at yourself. And if you don’t engage in introspection how can you grow and evolve?

Take the world of politics. So many are ready to take the stage declaring “I know what’s best” or ” I can lead us to greatness”. Where are the ones that say “I think…” surely thinking would be a good start for most of these positions.

The good always doubt their goodness. The Narcissistic never doubts anything.
