Hanging by a thread

Everyone is an individual. Each person, as unique as a snowflake. The things you love, somebody else probably dislikes. The thing you dislike are possibly as dream come true for another. One man’s trash and all that.

But who in the Bazillion people we have on this planet likes Red tape? I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time just trying to figure out the way past redundant protocols and strangely political social nuances.

Someone must set this up right? Someone designs all this red tape and hoops for people to jump through. Do they enjoy it? All it seems to do is make life more complicated than it needs to be.

Then I wonder if there are actually people that daft that it’s needed. Warning signs on every inch, instructions on a spoon. Or is it that people are just out for themselves and will create a problem that doesn’t exist just to profit from it.

Power and Fear seem to he people’s to main motivators. That includes myself. I know fear unfortunately rules far to much of my life, and power. I’d like to be powerful enough to not have to play these games. To be able to say “this is how it’ll be” and that be that. Anything more just sounds like a headache. Who wants to be the head PooBah when it just means more people to annoy you and more responsibility. No thanks.

I wonder what others think of when they consider power, or fear. I’d like to not worry and to feel safe. Is that too much to ask for?
